A gentleman’s agreement Analyzed the life of Philip green in 1947.Philip  Green was a journalist during his tenure he was asked to create anti-Semitic articles going against Jewish people. He struggled with this assignment because he had other personal feelings but it was his job so he complied with the request and begin writing anti-Semitic articles and reports. We know he probably found his job difficult because he always avoided his families questions on why his article was rooted in anti-Semitism. After watching this movie I don’t believe that Phillip was initially racist I believe he was doing a job and he might’ve had different beliefs than what he was writing about. However I do believe that his rhetoric makes this hard to see at times because he did make things that were controversial and most likely affected a lot of people.
